DC’s own MUTE event has really taken off over the last few weeks, and I have the pleasure of opening for a number of the artists who will be coming through. This week I was luck enough to work the floor before Kyau & Albert came in to blow the roof off, and this podcast is my recorded set from that night. K&Y brought their A-game, and the crowd was fired up from the first minute, which made this a truly incredible night. We look forward to the next installment this Thursday with Lange and Noah Neiman.

Episode 23 is here, and with it is some great news! I will be DJing at Lima in DC this Thursday night (13 September) for a new event called Mute. The concept is really interesting - headliners are not announced to the public, so I can’t tell you who it is, but I can tell you a couple of things about them. First, if you don’t come out, you’re going to wish you had. I know everyone says this, but it really is the case this time. Our headliner is in the top 25 spots on DJ Mag’s 2011 list, headlined a portion of Electric Zoo, and is truly world class. The opportunity to see this in an intimate and beautiful space like Lima is a real gift. I’ll see you all there.
